Lipofilling (fat grafting)
Lipofilling means transplanting the patient’s own fat cells into the correction area (face, breasts, arms, thighs, buttocks, atrophic scars). Lipofilling can achieve a double effect, reducing the size of areas containing excess fat tissue and filling problem areas.
The procedure is completely safe and does not cause allergies or other complications. Unlike other fillers, lipofilling – transplantation of your own fat tissue – provides a longer-lasting cosmetic effect. The cosmetic effect lasts up to 2 years. 30-35% of the transplanted fat tissue is not absorbed and remains in the correction area.
Lipofilling is performed:
For the correction of sunken cheeks, small lips, small chin, less pronounced wrinkles, for the correction of deep wrinkles (for the correction of nasolabial folds, interbrow wrinkles), for the complex rejuvenation of the hands, for the correction of the shape of the breast, for the change and enlargement of the shape of the calves and buttocks, for the filling of the deformation of the skin relief as a result of incorrectly performed liposuction. For the correction of post-traumatic defects, for the correction of atrophic scars. The operation can be performed under both general and local anesthesia.
Our clinic has developed a special method of obtaining adipose tissue and its further processing, which involves a high percentage of fat cells merging with the surrounding tissues. The cosmetic effect lasts up to 2 years.
The duration of the operation is determined by the volume of the working surface. On average, 1-2 hours.
In the days following the surgery, there will be swelling, which will go away on its own.
After surgery, every patient is individually prescribed a rehabilitation program, which helps them return to their usual rhythm of life.
The patient can return home the same day after the surgery. The patient returns to their normal routine in 2-3 days.
